Jodie Kelly (born 6 February 2004) is a British author and journalism graduate from Keighley, West Yorkshire, England. She is known for writing the novel A Lifetime Ago (2026). Kelly graduated from the University of Winchester with a degree in journalism in 2025.

Early life and education

Kelly was born on 6 February 2004 in Keighley, West Yorkshire, England. She later attended the University of Winchester, where she studied journalism and graduated in 2025.

Journalism

During her studies, Kelly wrote articles for regional newspapers including the Isle of Wight County Press. Her reporting covered community news and local events on the Isle of Wight.

Writing career

Kelly released her debut novel, A Lifetime Ago, on 1 May 2026.^[1]

The novel follows an art student who becomes intrigued by the mysterious disappearance of a former child actress named Florence Rivera. Shortly after publication, the book reached the top ten of Amazon's new releases chart in its category.

Campaign work

Kelly has also produced public awareness campaigns online. One campaign focused on raising awareness of seizure first aid and epilepsy, aiming to educate audiences about how to respond when someone experiences a seizure.
