Expereo Ltd is an international telecommunications company and managed Network-as-a-Service provider.
Its registered office and global headquarters are in Amsterdam, Netherlands.[1] It provides managed services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, APAC, and the Americas.
History
[edit]Expereo was founded in 2004 in Amsterdam. In 2005 the company established its Global Internet access coverage and added global equipment and maintenance services to its portfolio.
Between 2008 and 2010, Expereo expanded its operational infrastructure by establishing regional network hubs in major global cities, including London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, and Los Angeles. The company also opened offices in Asia and North America during this period.
In July 2014, Expereo was acquired by private equity firm, The Carlyle Group, marking its first major ownership change.[2][3] Following the acquisition, the company continued to expand its global presence and invest in network capacity upgrades.
In 2017, Expereo acquired French connectivity provider Border 6.[4]
In May 2018, the company was acquired by Apax Partners from The Carlyle Group.[5][6] Financial terms of the transaction were not publicly disclosed.
In 2021, the majority ownership of Expereo was acquired by Vitruvian Partners.
Throughout the early 2020s, Expereo acquired a number of entities, including Comsave, Videns IT Services, Brodynt Global Services, and Breeze Networks.[7]
In 2024 Expereo launched Enhanced Internet. The company also became an Authorized Reseller of Starlink’s Low Earth Orbit satellites.[8]
Solutions and services

- Global Internet access. Provisioning of internet services such as broadband, dedicated internet access (DIA), Fixed Wireless Access, and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite connectivity.
- Managed SD-WAN and SASE solutions. Delivery and management of Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions.
- Enhanced Internet. An AI-driven solution that monitors the performance of available network paths.[9]
- expereoOne. A web-based platform that provides visibility into network health, site deployments, service performance, support ticketing, and billing.
- Managed network services. End-to-end management of network infrastructure.
