Energy Tech Summit is a conference focused on climate and energy technology, held annually in Bilbao, Spain, since 2024.[1] The event connects startups in the clean-energy sector with investors from across Europe, and has featured discussion of industrial decarbonization informed by the World Economic Forum's Net Zero Industry Tracker.[1]
According to its organizers, the summit was founded by the venture capital firm Contrarian Ventures and was first held in Warsaw, Poland, before relocating to Bilbao.[2] Spanish bank BBVA has sponsored the event since its move to Bilbao.[2] The organizers state that recent editions have drawn more than a thousand attendees from dozens of countries.[1][2]
