Dorothea Mercouri (Italian: Dorotea Mercouri, Greek: Δωροθέα Μερκούρη) is a Italian/Greek actress and model.[1]
History
[edit]Dorothea was born on May 1974 in Turin, Italy, to a Italian Father and Greek Mother[2][3]. She moved to Greece when she was 12 where she attended an Italian School. Later she moved to New York, studying in the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. In 1999, she made her debut as an actress in the American short film Madame Zander[4]. The same year, she acted in the Greek parody film The Attack of the Giant Moussaka[5]. In 2006, she made her TV series debut in the Greek Comedy Series Seven Deadly Mother-In-Laws.
Dorothea had 2 Daughters with her ex husband Ward Sregehoird: Gaia and Electra[6]
