CMC Telecom (officially CMC Telecommunications Infrastructure Corporation) is a Vietnamese telecommunications company established on 5 September 2008 as a subsidiary of CMC Technology Group.

In May 2015, the company became the first telecommunications infrastructure provider in Vietnam to have a foreign strategic investor, following a strategic investment agreement with TIME dotCom Berhad, one of Malaysia’s largest telecommunications groups..[1]

CMC Telecom operates the Cross Vietnam Cable System (CVCS), a national backbone network extending over 2,500 kilometres and directly connected to major global cloud and content providers. The company also operates three data centers located in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with a combined capacity of approximately 3,000 racks.[2]

Since its founding, CMC Telecom has expanded from an Internet Service Provider (ISP) into a comprehensive telecommunications and digital services provider, offering internet transmission, data center, cloud computing, managed services, and cybersecurity solutions.[3]
