The company was started as a response to security issues in the Swedish rental market, specifically to prevent rental scams. It is operated by the technology company Devdash AB.[2]
Platform

Landlords can list properties for free, while tenants are subject to a fee structure based on their verification level.[3] The service uses BankID for user identity verification and acts as an intermediary for rent payments and security deposits.[4]
A core feature of the platform is "Bostadsmerit" (Housing Merit), a system that aggregates a tenant's data—such as credit checks, employment status, and references—into a digital rental résumé.[5]
