Bivas Tung

Bivas Tung (born 27 October 2001) is an Indian Medical Technologist (ECG), cardiac diagnostics professional, medical educator, blogger, and visual artist from Raidighi, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. He is currently serving as a Medical Technologist (ECG) at Kakdwip Sub-Division Hospital under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal. He is known for publishing educational content on electrocardiography (ECG), cardiac diagnostics, and healthcare awareness through his blogs.

Early life and education

Bivas Tung was born on 27 October 2001 in Raidighi, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India. He completed his schooling at Narendrapur Milan Vidyapith and earned a Bachelor of Science (General) degree from Raidighi College, affiliated with the University of Calcutta, in 2024. He also obtained a Diploma in Electrocardiographic Technique (DECG) from NRS Medical College & Hospital and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Application (ADCA).

Career

Tung began his professional career as a DECG Intern at NRS Medical College & Hospital. He later worked as an ECG Technologist at Dr. Sudarsan Chakrabarti Memorial Centre and as a Cardiology Technician at Health Plus Diagnostic Pvt. Ltd. He subsequently joined the Government of West Bengal as a Medical Technologist (ECG) at Kakdwip Sub-Division Hospital. His professional work includes electrocardiography (ECG), Holter monitoring, treadmill testing (TMT), ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), and other cardiac diagnostic procedures.

Bivas Tung maintains educational blogs focused on healthcare and cardiac diagnostics, where he publishes articles on ECG interpretation, cardiovascular health, and medical technology.
