Alex Reznik (born July 12, 1978) is an American actor, producer, and director. He has appeared in the films The Social Network (2010), Hearts Beat Loud (2018), Babylon (2022), The Backup Dancer (2016), and Beach Party At The Threshold Of Hell (2006). He currently stars in the television series The Agency: Central Intelligence (2024-Present)[1], and appeared in The West Wing (1999-2006), ER (1994-2009), Brothers and Sisters (2006-2011), and in the miniseries When We Rise (2017).
He has executively produced the limited series Seven Seconds (2018) for Netflix.[2], and ABC's Million Dollar Mind Game (2010). He has also executively produced the feature films Ghost Team (2016) and Kicks (2016)[6][7]
He is currently directing a dance doc-series for Warner Horizon television.
Biography
[edit]Reznik was born in Odesa, Ukraine, and at a young age immigrated to the United States to Chicago, attending Chicago Academy for the Arts. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Drama from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He is the founder of East 2 West Entertainment, a film and television production company in Los Angeles.[8]
Career

Reznik began his career in the early 2000s with guest appearances on several high-profile network procedurals and dramas. His early credits include roles in ER, Without a Trace, and the Friends spin-off Joey.
In 2002, he appeared in The West Wing episode "Holy Night" as the character Jacob. He later held recurring or guest roles in:

In 2024, Reznik joined the main cast of the Paramount+ with Showtime series The Agency, a remake of the French series Le Bureau des Légendes. He portrays Piotr Rybak, an operative codenamed "Coyote," appearing alongside Michael Fassbender and Jeffrey Wright.

In 2010, Reznik appeared in David Fincher’s Academy Award-winning film The Social Network, playing an aide to Prince Albert. Other notable film credits include:
