Above Snakes is a Wild-West themed open-world Survival RPG which features crafting, exploration and base-building gameplay.[1]
Development
[edit]Above Snakes is the debut title from Groningen-based indie game studio Square Glade Games, which is led by Tobias Schnackenberg & Marc Volger.[2]
Reception
[edit]The Xbox Hub, who rated the game 3/5, commented positively on the game's aesthetic, drawing parallels to early MMO's such as Runescape, as well as referring to the title as a "skill-driven, crafting-heavy indie RPG."[3]
Indie Game Reviewer, who rated the game 3.5/5, commented favourably on the game's setting, and layered crafting systems. However, it also criticised the story as "a tad stiff". [1]
