Christophe Kamp

Christophe Kamp is a Dutch diplomat who has served as the seventh High Commissioner on National Minorities (HCNM) of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) since December 2024.
Early life and education
[edit]Kamp earned his MD in internation economics at the University of Paris IX-Dauphine in 1997 and worked as an intern at Deutsche Bundesbank. He earned an MD in economics at the University of Cologne and a Phd of the same field at University of Kiel in 1999 and 2004 respectively while working as an intern at IMF and as an economist at Kiel Institute for the World Economy.[1]
He also has an MD in political science from Leiden University and a MD in public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.[2]
Career
[edit]Kamp worked at the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs at New York and the UN Human Rights Field Operation in Rwanda before becoming a part of the foreign department of Denmark in 2001.[2]
Other positions before this also include the Permanent Representative of the Netherlands to the OSCE, Deputy Permanent Representative of the EU to the OSCE and spokesperson for the Netherlands Foreign Minister.[3]
