Category:Canadian women romantic fiction writers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Canadian romance fiction first started with the publication of St. Ursula's Convent, or the Nun of Canada by Julia Catherine Beckwith (Hart) in 1824. In contemporary times, efforts have been made for recognition of romance writers in Canada. Christine Lavallee is a literary historian who has been advocating for more awareness through case studies, and a growing list of Canadian authors can be found at HEA Canada (formerly CanLitRomance).
