Callohesma matthewsi is a species of bee in the family Colletidae and the subfamily Euryglossinae. It is endemic to Australia. It was described in 1974 by Australian entomologist Elizabeth Exley.[1][2]
Distribution and habitat
[edit]The species occurs in southern inland Australia. The type locality is Wyperfeld National Park in Victoria. It has also been recorded from Kukerin, Dedari and Lake King in Western Australia.[2]
Behaviour
[edit]The adults are flying mellivores.[2]
