Bandkhor (transl. Rebel) also spelled Bandakhor is an upcoming Indian Marathi-language drama film written and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Sanjay Shetye under the banner of Vinsan Graphic Production.[1][2] The film follows six women from different backgrounds who come together to fight against injustice and societal barriers.[3] It stars Mrinal Kulkarni, Chhaya Kadam, Priyadarshini Indalkar, Pooja Katurde, Titeeksha Tawde and Nityashree Patil in the lead roles.[4][5]
The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on 24 September 2026.[6]

Production
[edit]The film's muhurat shot was held in Goa in the presence of Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and MLA Delilah Lobo, along with members of the cast and crew.[7] The film is produced under the banner of Vinsan Graphic Production, a production house based in Goa.[8]
Release
[edit]The teaser for the film was released on 24 August 2026.[9] The trailer was launched at a grand event on 7 September 2026 at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai.[10][11] The event was attended by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar and former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar.[12]
Bandkhor is scheduled to be released theatrically on 24 September 2026 with an "A" certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).[citation needed]
