Review requested: Nautiyal historical expansion

[edit]

A sourced historical expansion has been proposed for Nautiyal and has been awaiting review at Talk:Nautiyal#Proposed historical expansion since 10 September. The draft is at User:Xyz123abc789/Nautiyal expansion. I would appreciate an uninvolved editor reviewing the sourcing, neutrality/due weight, article scope, and whether the historical material is appropriate for the article before it is incorporated. Xyz123abc789 (talk) 21:45, 26 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Following up on this after around two weeks here and a month since the original talk-page request. I would still appreciate an uninvolved review, particularly on sourcing, due weight and whether the proposed historical material fits the scope of the surname article. I’m happy to trim or restructure the draft if needed. Draft: User:Xyz123abc789/Nautiyal expansion. Original discussion: Talk:Nautiyal#Proposed historical expansion. Proposed deletion of Haaziq Kazi

[edit]
Notice

The article Haaziq Kazi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged for notability concerns for 7 years. Pretty obvious WP:BLP1E situation about a middle school student who once made a big speech. Created by a now-blocked sockpuppet.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.

If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Bearian (talk) 08:07, 4 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

Secondary Review Request: Draft:Hari Darshan Sankhya

[edit]

Hello Reviewer, the draft for Indian visual artist Draft:Hari Darshan Sankhya has been resubmitted after improving specific quotes and verified translations from coverage in The Hindu, The Times of India, Garhwal Post, and the German newspaper Badische Zeitung per WP:NARTIST. Requesting an editor familiar with Indian arts coverage to kindly review. Thank you! Azad Kapoor (talk) 12:30, 4 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

Help finding Malayalam or offline sources: Draft:Missions India (Thiruvalla, Kerala)

[edit]

Hello. I am looking for editors with access to Kerala print sources or Malayalam-language archives.

Draft:Missions India is a short draft on an evangelical mission agency in Thiruvalla, Kerala, and its parent ministry, Navajeevodayam, founded by K. V. Cherian (died 20 February 1984). It is currently awaiting AfC review. I have declared a conflict of interest (personal acquaintance only, unpaid) on the draft talk page.

The problem: I can only find the organization's own website and one passing mention in an independent church history. That is not enough for notability, and I do not want to overstate the case. Archived coverage of Kerala's evangelical movements is limited online, so independent sources may exist in print or in Malayalam.

What would help most:

  • Malayalam newspaper coverage of K. V. Cherian (for example obituaries around February 1984) or of the South India Keswick Convention
  • Books or journals on Kerala evangelical history that discuss Navajeevodayam or its magazine
  • Directories or surveys of Indian mission agencies that cover Missions India

If you find something, please add it to the draft or post it on Draft talk:Missions India with the publication, date and page. If the sources do not exist, I would also like to know, so I can drop the draft. Thank you. Streetsoda (talk) 16:49, 5 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

Review request: Irasis Acharya (COI edit request)

[edit]

I am a paid editor (disclosed on the article talk page) with a COI edit request at Talk:Irasis Acharya under "Edit request: legal section balance, education, and additions". It has small, separately reviewable parts, including a rebalance of the legal section, an infobox and lead addition, and source corrections. All are sourced. I would be grateful if an uninvolved editor could take a look. I am not editing the article directly. ProContentEditor (talk) 16:17, 10 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

Murder of Kanhaiya Lal

[edit]

On Murder of Kanhaiya Lal, one user has been adding the religions of the victim and the alleged assailants only because "reliable sources say so". However, I have a few objections against these:

1) BLP applies everywhere on Wikipedia. None of these people ever identified their religion.

2) It gives misleading impression that the crime was motivated due to religious identity.

3) While in these 4 years, this type of edit never took place but there was a narrower content dispute at Talk:Murder of Kanhaiya Lal#Protected edit request on 4 July 2022 (2) which held that their alleged association with a religious group should not be added until court provides a ruling which is relevant to this identification. Things haven't changed at all in this case even after so many years.
