Undeletion request for Module:Base64

You deleted Module:Base64 when closing a brief discussion which indicated that at the time it had no likely use case. A base64 decoder is currently included in both Module:Cite taxon (55281 transclusion) and Module:U.S. Army Cemeteries Explorer. The U.S. Army Cemeteries Explorer is currently linked from 2094 pages, all of which are candidates for replacement with {{U.S. Army Cemeteries Explorer}}. Would you consider undeleting Module:Base64 to minimize code duplication? Daask (talk) 06:36, 19 August 2026 (UTC)

Your opinion on unexplained tehsil changes

Hi there, I noticed you reverted recent changes at Likir which added a redlink category. That user has gone on quite a tear of similar edits, all with nonexistent categories and other errors. I googled it, and there does seem to be some overlap in the names of these tehsils, so I'm not 100% sure this is vandalism, but I DO know those categories are red. :( In your opinion is this something that should be reported as vandalism? (talk page watcher) @Jessicapierce: WP:REDNO says Either the category should be created or the non-existent category link should be removed or changed to one that already exists. I would probably start with the last of these - is there another existing category that has some variant of spelling, punctuation or grammar? See for instance Wikipedia talk:WikiProject United Kingdom#Create Category:Schools in United Kingdom where I pointed out that the desired Category:Schools in United Kingdom would be redundant to the existing Category:Schools in the United Kingdom.

If there is no sensible replacement, consider if the redlinked category is desirable. Has it been populated with more than a couple of pages? Could it be made part of a larger structure? Would it survive a CfD? If you can say yes to these, create the category page; see for instance Category:2026 in British women's sport although I don't recall where I saw it redlinked. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 07:07, 7 September 2026 (UTC)

Thanks! I was tracking down the non-existent templates. When cited information is changed without changing the citation, that is always a red flag. However, it is quite possible that there has been an administrative restructuring of the tehsils, so it would be good to see if there is a source. Thanks!
