[edit]Hi IronGargoyle. Would you mind taking a look at File:Lady Brabourne College Entrance.jpg? There's FOP for buildings in India where the photo was taken, but a photo of just the building would be OK per {{FoP-USonly}} even if there wasn't. The wall artwork on both sides of the entrance, though, might be a problem. The uploader is claiming they took the photo; so, all that's needed from them is a license for that. The copyrght status of artwork, on the other hand, might be a bit trickier to sort out since neither the US nor India allow unrestricted FOP for 2D works of art. Could the artwork be treated as incidental or de minimis to the entire scene? -- Marchjuly (talk) 13:12, 15 August 2026 (UTC)
- So many levels of mess there. Obviously the uploader should have specified the license. I'm also not loving the fact that this is AI-edited. I would say the murals should probably be cropped or blurred, but is it really worth it when there are so many other red flags here? IronGargoyle (talk) 17:52, 15 August 2026 (UTC)
