BD2412 T 21:40, 20 August 2026 (UTC)AfC August Backlog Drive: Only ten days left!
[edit]
Hi BD2412, thanks for participating in the Articles for Creation August Backlog Drive! We've done amazing work so far, dropping the backlog by more than 3000 drafts already. We have around 1300 drafts outstanding, and we need your help to get that down to zero in the next 10 days. We can do this, but we need all hands on deck to help make it happen – if everyone who signed up to the drive reviewed just 1–2 drafts a day for the next ten days, we'd be down to zero in no time! A list of the pending drafts can be found at WP:AFCSORT, where you can select submissions in your area of interest, or you can find a random submission here. Thank you so much for your work so far, and happy reviewing! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:20, 21 August 2026 (UTC)

BD2412 T 21:22, 6 September 2026 (UTC)Assistance with talk page behaviour
[edit]Good Evening,
I am reaching out as you are a recently active administrator.
I have been given a final warning on my talk page, which I believe wholely unjustified and considering my over decade long experience of thousands of edits.
You may not be in a position to action anything, but I would be grateful for any advice as I feel this is bullying behaviour towards me, and tarnishes my reputation. Best Wishes Telfordbuck (talk) 23:35, 8 September 2026 (UTC)

Who requested the move for Template:Hlist.css
[edit]I saw that you moved Template:Hlist.css to Template:Horizontal list/styles.css because of WP:RM, or due to a requested move. May I ask who requested the move? (Also, please try to leave a redirect if you want to move a page again) ZImperator (talk) (contrib)
00:50, 12 September 2026 (UTC)
- @ZImperator: See Template talk:Horizontal list#Requested move 3 August 2026. The requesting editor was User:FaviFake, followed by a lengthy discussion resulting in a reasonably clear consensus for the moves proposed therein. BD2412 T 00:53, 12 September 2026 (UTC)
- @BD2412 - this has broken a number of pages, for example Surface Duo. Ed (talk) 01:00, 12 September 2026 (UTC)
- @Ed6767: Surface Duo looks normal to me now. For some pages the fix may just need a few minutes to propagate. BD2412 T 01:06, 12 September 2026 (UTC)
- It is all good for me. Have you refreshed the webpage? GGOTCC 01:19, 12 September 2026 (UTC)
- That page looks fine to me, but I am still seeing glitches on some other pages (Westside Whimsy, for example). ~2026-41404-95 (talk) 01:27, 12 September 2026 (UTC)
- @~2026-41404-95 I made a blank edit and that fixed it. As this point, it is a matter of each article's chase being cleared over time. GGOTCC 01:30, 12 September 2026 (UTC)

| OH MY GOD WHAT DID YOU DO THERE'S MONKEYS AND FISH EVERYWHERE SOMEONE HELP |
You gave me quite the moment of realization when I opened an article and saw an error message about the Hlist template's css having no content.
- Hmm, wasn't there a long overdue RM on that needing to be closed.. hmm, didn't I just see two notifs in my inbox of BD2412 closing some other overdue RMs.. hmm, didn't some folks in that RM mention something about CSS and it not being so simple to change.. oh.. oh no..
Although I do realize that your moment of realization must have hit with way more force than mine did. Good on you for fixing it quickly though, else you just might have ended up in the village stocks! –Maltazarian ᚾparleyinvestigateᛅ 02:15, 12 September 2026 (UTC)

Transclusion backend implications
[edit]The recent template edit(s) have created a queue of work for our jobrunners, which is impacting our service health. Please hold off on any major template changes while everything goes back to equilibrium. RKemper (WMF) (talk) 03:59, 12 September 2026 (UTC)
Moving related templates
[edit]Template:Endplainlist and Template:Endflatlist may need attention once you have digested your trout and the dust has settled from the giant mushroom cloud. – Jonesey95 (talk) 13:19, 12 September 2026 (UTC)
- I moved the preceding templates in accordance with the outcome of a move request. I would not do so on my own initiative. BD2412 T 17:25, 12 September 2026 (UTC)

BD2412 T 02:13, 14 September 2026 (UTC)Hi, can you remove the article history of Elise By Olsen from before 1 April 2025? I created this as a new draft. Thank you, Thriley (talk) 03:50, 14 September 2026 (UTC)
- @Thriley: In my experience, we do not remove previous history merely because content on the same subject has been drafted anew. BD2412 T 14:15, 14 September 2026 (UTC)
- I thought that was usually the case. Without deleting the previous history of this article, a COI editor is getting credit for its creation. Thriley (talk) 14:56, 14 September 2026 (UTC)
Hello! I noticed that you originally created the BeyGOOD article. I’m currently working on updating it, as there are several tags on the page that need addressing. I’ve put together a draft in my Sandbox, which I’m still refining.
Since you were the initial creator, I’d really appreciate your input and feedback. I’ve tried to keep the structure straightforward, but please feel free to point out anything you think could be improved or clarified.
Thanks — I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Koppite1 (talk) 15:32, 15 September 2026 (UTC)
- @Koppite1: I did not create the article; I merely created a redirect to Beyoncé at that title. However, I will be glad to have a look at the draft in the next day or two. I have, as it happens, written a few articles on celebrity philanthropy. BD2412 T 15:40, 15 September 2026 (UTC)
- Admittedly, I’ve kept the draft fairly skeletal, as I’m not great with detailed expansion. Any suggestions for improvement would be more than welcome Thanks. Koppite1 (talk) 16:03, 15 September 2026 (UTC)
- My initial impression is that there are an awful lot of overly short sections. We prefer not to have single-line sections, so it is better to organize content more broadly. The relevant articles that I have written, Philanthropy of Michael Jackson and Philanthropy and advocacy of Dolly Parton, may serve as models. BD2412 T 16:21, 15 September 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. I've tried to take on board your feedback and have reduced the number of short sections...and have tried to organise things more broadly. Can i ask you to take another look? I will also message a few of the most recent editors on the article to see if they want to contribute with any suggestions. Your feedback is much appreciated. Thank you. Koppite1 (talk) 21:29, 16 September 2026 (UTC)

| This is awarded to BD2412 for accumulating more than 24.5 points during the August 2026 AfC backlog drive. Thank you for sharing your time, knowledge and dedication; together, we reviewed over 12,700 drafts during the drive and brought the 3+ month backlog down to just a single week, which we couldn't have done it without you. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 12:46, 16 September 2026 (UTC) |

BD2412 T 03:37, 17 September 2026 (UTC)Earl history
[edit]Hi BD2412! Hope you are doing well. I was hoping you would restore the history under the article Henry Earl (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)? I had requested a refund at Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion/Archive 424#Henry Earl, and you wisely told me to wait until the article was a blue link before requesting its restoration. (I know the article is currently a short stub; I plan to improve it further.) Thank you in advance :) Best, HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 00:49, 19 September 2026 (UTC)
- @HouseBlaster: This has been done. Cheers! BD2412 T 21:36, 19 September 2026 (UTC)
