Article Title should be changed

Honestly, is this article introducing the enough bookbinding context of Asia? It just emphasizes the origin of China. This article should be has the title "History of Chinese Bookbinding" not the "Chinese bookbinding" itself. In addition, it should not be treated with same level with other bookbinding method documents in Western, Middle Asia and Arab's one. Each of them has detailed structure and characteristics and just Chinese bookbinding itself is too broad spectrum of the field. It is not a single bookbinding method. Even the content and title is mismatched. The title and content describe the overall history of Chinese bookbinding but at the beginning it said it is 線裝. From the title to the end, it has lack of the consistency. So my suggestion is leave this document as description about Evolution and history of Chinese bookbinding and its affection to the near countries and write down the each binding style separately.

Japanese bullshit

Expansion

Of course that move will ask a little more out of the page. There'd need to be a little bit added about the present publishing industry in China.

Whether it stays here or goes, however, the article needs a rebuild either way. Stitched binding is only one of myriad forms of Chinese bookbinding. The article already talks about others but needs to be better structured to make the more general wp:scope clear. Since this is where the Books template is sending all Chinese book seekers, there also needs to be an overview of Chinese scrolls (our scroll page is also missing Chinese and East Asian content) and discussion about the common Chinese formatting for dealing with written work, both materially (書/卷/&c.) and organizationally (上/中/下). — LlywelynII 08:49, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
