| Use in article (WP:NFCC#7) | Project M |
| Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) | Project M's character selection screen allows the player to select Zero Suit Samus, Sheik, Squirtle, Ivysaur, or Charizard individually, rather than having to switch to them from another character, includes new characters Mewtwo and Roy, and also shows the updated art style and new character sprites. |

| Not replaceable with textual coverage because (WP:NFCC#1) |
Text alone would not show the visual differences from Melee and Brawl. |
| Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) | As the main gameplay resembles that of Melee and Brawl, a screenshot of it here would be redundant and likely removed. |
| Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2) |
