This non-free media file has been set up with as small a version as possible, to comply with Wikipedia's non-free content policy and United States copyright law. The rationale for its upload is as follows:
- There is no "free" alternative (which is itself freely available)
- MacsBug is now considered legacy software and has a historical interest
- The image is at its lowest practical resolution
- The MacsBug article implied to this user interface as being a "standard" (by comparing it to gdb, TMON, and Jasik debugger).
Notes:
- The MacsBug menubar and mouse interface was disabled for this screenshot (it can be enabled with
set menubar on; set mouse on). - The machine ID and system version reflect a Power Mac G5 running Classic v9.2.2
- The date and time shown correspond to the release date of Leopard, which ended support for Classic.
