    Article

    Blood Quran

    Portion used

The book and hands of the book holder.

    Low resolution?

This image's size and resolution is sufficient enough to provide identification of the work.

    Purpose of use

This non-free image will be the primary form of identification of the subject of the article in the infobox used in the article.

    Replaceable?

The book has been hidden away in Umm al-Qura Mosque since 2003, with it completely inaccessible to anyone except staff, and even before then, only invited visitors could see it (and cameras (or phones) were possibly not allowed), so a free image would have to be taken in problematic circumstances. This is the only true picture found through search of its reveal, and any picture that would be found would likely be non-free.
